Our local H.S. have put on "It's a Wonderful Life" as a radio drama.

I wish I could find a video of it. I am watching it on TV. It is shot in B&W and is just great. The kids vocalize just like people did in the 1940s complete with singing advertising spots. I wonder how many times the cast watched the film. If I find a video I will post it. I am just so proud of these kids from here doing such a fun and well acted play.

I see that it is being broadcasted on our local public radio station KAMU on the 29th at 3PM CST. Here's a link:

I will try to catch the 12/29 performance. We attended a local stage version on Sunday at our Civic Center.

While not the greatest, it was enjoyable to see another version by a local theater group.

The camera even zoomed in on the sound effects people. The players were wearing formal clothes and just looked and sounded the part.
Our grown son was in the choir and drama group at this school. It earned him a 4 year paid scholarship at Tarleton State in Stevenville, TX. This is kind of odd that Tarleton would have drama and voice since Stevenville is a real cow town.
