"J.T." a Christmas classic from 1969

It's about a inner-city kid who finds a sick, stray cat in an abandoned building. It's grainy and the sound isn't so good but it's a great story, well-written and acted. Don't forget to have a box of kleenex within reach.

I'd never heard of this movie before. It's a real hidden gem with some great performances. I really cared about this little boy. I won't give away the plot, but it's both sad and uplifting at the same time. I hope other posters here take the time to watch it.

But it won such critical acclaim that the network re-aired it in primetime and it utlimately won a Peabody Award. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
