I do use a Keurig and love it, but only because I only drink the one cup and use a reusable pod. As far as the cookie maker thing, I know it wouldn't be a good idea for me. My willpower isn't all that strong, and if it got easier to make cookies, I'd probably gain 50 pounds.

4. My grandma taught me to make Maryland Beaten Biscuits when I was 10.

I took off from there - 54 years ago!

You should taste my cherry, apple, blueberry pies AND my cranberry cake!

Cookies are easy - if you don't forget they're in the oven. Far out as we are, no going back to town for new ingredients.

I also make fabulous pot pies.

Because most people don't know or don't appreciate how delicious a Maryland Beaten Biscuit is.

8. Yep. As was my mom - who never did learn to cook but grew up working at Aberdeen.

Mommom (my grandma) raised 7 kids on very little money and a farm. She was the most cozy person I've ever known.

And NO ONE appreciates Beaten Biscuits more than my spouse - well, maybe the kitty if she gets a nibble. I still love them. And blue crabs...…………...

I hardly know you and already like you very much, BUT I probably appreciate Beaten Biscuits more than your husband.
Were they from the Eastern Shore side of MD?

They haven't updated their FB page since 2017. It is a very stupid concept if you ask me.

12. Great, more recyclables that will never be recycled. Just like the coffee pods.

They're supposed to be recyclable, but they have a foil lid that needs to be removed before putting in the plastics recycle bin. So guess what, they don't get recycled.

"It makes cookies in 10 minutes!"

As opposed to making them in your toaster oven in 12?
