He bought a fully loaded Kia Optima. We let him trade in the car he was driving (it was ours) and gave him a couple dollars (his 21st birthday is next month), he's in college and is working a paid internship. I'm proud of him. He's very responsible for his age!

The two used cars we bought never lasted. I'm guessing it's because they were either driven badly to start or managed badly. Since we buy new and maintain them meticulously (well, at least mechanically, we're not very tidy... ) they last for many, many more miles.
