*Awkward*!1 Ellen's taped show played Donna SUMMER's "Not Stuff" just now
This is sweeps, so it's almost certainly a new show, but they tape a day or so in advance, no? Because she's always kidding with the audience about what everybody did over the weekend or holiday when it's clear the taping is before the weekend or holiday.
Anyway, the Donna song was not accompanied by any kind of tribute remark, was the accompaniment to some random bit, so it's likely it was a unfortunate coincidence.
On Edit: Well, if a tribute remark had been attached to a clip of any of her songs, the slip would still be played, so what the diff, eh?!1

like, the "Typing Too Fast" (to get a "catch" into DU) forum, or the "Proofreading Is for Wimps" forum," or the "Grammar Schrammar" forum (for the grammar in the body of the message, "a unfortunate" instead of "AN unfortunate"
