I'm from southern California and split my time growing up between the beach and the desert around Palm Springs. My mom and I would drive to Flagstaff several times a year to visit family and I just loved loved loved the drive, and Sedona. Not for all the vortex stuff, but because it is gorgeous.

Beautiful. I live in Virginia now, and it is quite beautiful in its verdant way, but there is something about the southwest that just grabs me.
