Ok, when counting seconds do you use thousand or Mississippi???

One one thousand, or one Mississippi. One one thousand, is only 4 counts, and one Mississippi is actually 5 counts so which one do you use??

4. I just checked against my iphone clock countdown. One "Mississippi" is most acurate for me.
