Of course I'm prejudiced, having a big yellow girl myself. And that face, the blinky eyes, the rapid tail wags, that smile. How could anyone be mad with that "apology."

That face just melts my heart.

Our girl just gets a firm "no" a few times when she's stolen food, then our hearts melt. They are so incredibly sweet.

Exception: time we found a steak knife with the plastic handle chewed up. She's a tall Lab and was able to reach the countertop. She then got a "Hell-no" tongue lashing that must've gone on for 10 mins. She's not hit on any counter items since.

Babies, just gotta love 'em. 💕

My brother has 4 of them, all rescues. Sweetest looking babies too. But...but one kid put their last adopted boy in the hospital for days, almost killed his new brother!!! Those pups are possessive brats.
They've kept both, working through it until there was peace in the family. That was 2yrs ago.

Mrs Glam said we had to do a rescue when we got the Mighty Zeppelin. I was on petfinder and found these two that were found in a garbage can. One had lost an eye. My heart wept. I was gonna pull the trigger, and someone beat me to it. Dodged that bullet. I'd have loved the both of em, but they can be possessive angry little creatures.

It's the owner who should be put in the penalty box, for leaving the cat food in a location where the dogs could get it. That's on the owner. Dogs eat food. They're hard wired for it. They aren't responsible for eating goodies that you leave out.
