where are you?

I'm in VA, and I remember the only EQ VA has had in years. It moved the blinds around in the window and I didn't really think too much of it until the news in the evening reported it was an EQ.

We would feel a 3.8 and above, but the lower vibrations occurred a lot, once in awhile you could see the water in a glass quivering.Once a week of so I would tap the picture/mirror frames to align them.

Most of the time, there are definite signs so you can prepare for a tornado, and take shelter. They are even better at sounding the alarms for the ones that happen after dark. Not so with quakes!! I've been in a couple of real shakers and it took me days to get my equilibrium back.

Yeah, rush hour is like when 10 cars go by in 30 minutes. Literally. It’s a quiet neighborhood. There are dogs everywhere but they don’t bark constantly, and if they do then something is probably wrong. I feel bad when my chickens announce the arrivals of their eggs
