Works better on paper due to the spelling of knight, of course. But I like it!

sooner or later, you dance with the reaper.

I actually find, when I play, that pawns often have a better survival rate than other pieces. I mean, knights and bishops are expendable, the queen often gets traded for the other queen.

That may, of course, be a result of my very primitive strategy

1. get an advantage in power
2. make even trades so that my opponent is "defanged" (is no longer able to nullify my edge in power)

also, the computer, when pressed, will often sacrifice a bunch of pieces to postpone the inevitable.
