How "Cowboy Pinball" works

Here’s how “Cowboy Pinball” apparently works. 23 volunteers are rounded up and each placed in a small circle in a rodeo pen. A bull with $100 tied to its flank is released into the pen. Whoever grabs the $100 without leaving their circle is declared the winner. The rest reconsider their life decisions, and possibly head to some kind of medical tent.

WARNING: the following video contains content some might find disturbing:

“A hush came across the gym,” the spectator said. “This did not seem normal for them [the producers of the event]. I never saw the [second] man [regain consciousness]. They were trying to decide who should get the $100 prize, and the people who were still left on the floor said they didn’t want it. They said to give it to the guy who was injured.”

“I’m sure it won’t happen again,” he said of Owensboro having the “Cowboy Pinball” game at another Bull Bash event.

Livestock are treated like sh't and people that are stupid enough to take on an agitated bull deserve what they get. Idiots.

And he lands real hard.
So they grab his limp body by one arm and a leg and haul him off to the side.

I don’t know how I’d have done differently, but if he had any type of spinal injury after that flip then hauling him off like that could have paralyzed or killed him.

Smart people all the way round.

According to witnesses, the “Cowboy Pinball” game required participants to stand in circles that were drawn for each of the 23 volunteers who signed a waiver beforehand, which warned them of potential injuries, accidents and even death, according to officials who run the event. SEBRA — the company who runs the Bull Bash across the country — refused to share a copy of the waiver with Owensboro Times when one was requested.

“I’m sure it won’t happen again,” he said of Owensboro having the “Cowboy Pinball” game at another Bull Bash event.

Two SEBRA employees confirmed that the second participant was awake and alert after the incident, before seeking medical treatment. Owensboro Times has inquired to the current condition of both participants with no response at this time.

As the 3rd man that got injured in this game. I also have to call bs on not
knowing that they were going to play this game. As someone has already
said they advertise this for mouth in advance . So Sportcenter saying that
they had no idea of the game is such bs. And also for the Owensboro times
trying to contact the people who got injured I have not received any thing
saying they are trying to contact me. Me and my wife inter this game to
have some fun that night we both knew that one of us could get hurt but
we still did anyways.Yes I did in up with some busted ribs hurt leg, elbow
an a huge bruse on my butt
.With all that I still got up an went to work .
I and my wife had a great time at the rodeo. Would I do it again..... Yes I would.
