Oh no! My Father-in-law passed away last night.

Super nice guy. Very practical and logical type. Extremely smart and a good liberal. He was 92. Lead a good life. He hung out with a bunch of radicals when he was in college and was very disappointed that when they started the FOIA he wasn't on the Watch List! He will be missed.

My brother-in-law noticed that he was a bit unsteady getting up. Turns out he's had a brain tumor for several years. Then he fell about a week ago and ended up in ICU. He pretty much slept until he passed away last night. They were gong to put him on a ventilator and the family decided not to. So his breathing slow down and he just gave out. That's exactly the way he would have wanted it. Quick and painless.
