-Do you think there are enough folks interested to support a Hockey Forum?

I'm not a HUUUUUGE fan, but I like it enough that I'd stop by now and again.

PS: The blues have played so well the last 5 weeks I had to ditch the Bird on a bat logo (Until opening day - let's not get silly) for the Note

ETA - I sent in 2 ask the admins requests to start a hockey page but I have not received reply.

I don't know how the Admins gauge interest, but looks like we missed the threshold.

Not that the Pens were worth a shit back then anyway.

I was a Pirates and Steeler fan and rooted for the Duquesne Iron Dukes basketball team 'cause my friend's older brother got a scholarship.

38 years after I left the Burgh, the Pens are a perennial power. A multi cup winning Cadillac franchise and I'm living in the Lou rooting for a perennial disappointment.

I'm surprised at the number of people who have responded to this thread. More than I figured.

And Polack MSgt, you surely know who Jordan Binnington is. His stats have been nothing short of astounding over the past several weeks. I wonder if he's legit? As in an all-star goalie for most of the next decade?

But 6-7 weeks is a long time for just a flash in the pan.

I'm enjoying the ride right now, I was convinced that the Blues were toast around Christmas - worst team in the league back then.

And then? Best team in the league since New Year's day.

Strange year to be sure but it's no coincidence that the winning started when Vlad T began scoring - The goal tending has been a nice bonus but Vladi (Rhymes with Yadi) is the engine pulling the train

23. It was definitely a combination

of Binnington's emergence and Tarasenko coming to life that led to the incredible streak that the Blues went on recently. Ryan O'Reilly deserves credit too. He and Vladi have clicked recently, but O'Reilly was pretty close to a point-per-game player before coming to St. Louis. He's a hard-nosed centre but a disciplined player, an excellent addition to the roster.
