I have a deep complaint

I hate those moving gifs in people's sig line. The person who puts those in there NEVER sees them; but they are annoying as hell if your are trying to read a post. I hate that gorilla punching trump and that slobbering walrus thing the most.

I have stopped going to people's posts because I know that I won't be able to read the post because of the constantly moving gifs.

Sorry to rant, but am I the only one who hates these things? Really, they push me away from DU.

Scroll down to User Signature line on posts.
Click remove.

That should do the trick.

I also find those large animated gifs particularly irritating. Those who subject the entire community to their need for public attention must see how their choices are glaringly aggravating. Now I'll finally be able to get my revenge and turn them off!

4. The walrus is extremely obnoxious, I concur.

Along with the misogyny of a certain poster who’s always throwing women into lakes and such.

In web design we used to call animated gifs “dancing bologna.” It has its purpose but does nothing to further serious political discourse.

that craze, I went crazy and am so happy to see them gone for the most part. When Underpants had the duck taped to the wall for all that time was pretty nuts too.

Adaware ad blocking is an extension to my Firefox browser.

but sig lines in DU are something different. And I just found out how to turn them off. I am a happy woman.
