Head's up! If you get a chance to see "The Public" GO!

Just saw a screening of Emilio Estevez's new film "The Public" and really enjoyed it. It's having several sneak previews over the next few weeks and will open in about 20 cities on April 5th. Hopefully it will open wider after some good word of mouth. Emilio is definitely his father's son.

It's funny with credits. Certain actors are bigger names - Taylor Schilling, Alec Baldwin nd Christian Slater - so they're listed higher 9n the credit totem pole, but MKW has much more screen time. He did a great job.

Emilio was at the screening to do a Q&A. He mentioned that the whole thing was shot in 22 days.

in which I saw the bit about the doc. about the NYC Public Library and put it on my streaming list.
