because they contain too many spoilers. Maybe not as bad for a tv series, but the early reveal seems to ruin scenes for me. They often put crown pleasing moments in the trailer so you watch the movie anticipating these moments and not spontaneously appreciating them.

Still trailers have improved since Night of the Lepus. My daughter and I watched that trailer once, and she could not stop laughing as they ran through the cast showing their deaths. Talk about the ultimate spoiler. A mock trailer done like that for Game of Thrones would be hilarious.

I feel so baited and switched....

Last year I switched from Direct TV to Dish. A few months later they lost HBO. I'm stuck in a 2 year contract.

*GRRRRRRRR*

I know there are other ways to get HBO, and I'll have to pay for that, but I'll still be paying Dish.

the DVR with 1,000 HD hours was great, and we almost never lost service in bad weather. But, I know my dad - an obsessive baseball fan - wouldn't get Dish because you couldn't get the YES network with their basic package to watch the Yankees at the time. And, I remember them having issues with AMC and me being able to watch The Walking Dead was a potential problem at the time.

We bought the DVD set and cancelled HBO....will look for "alternative" ways to watch the new season.
Dammit.
