Hula hoops was patented 56 yrs ago today...

Simpler times simpler toys got us outside and moving though. A simple plastic hoop...who would’ve thought it would be such a huge hit?

Remember your color of hoop? I had a red one first then who knows.

Such a great tribute to a period of Hollywood filmmaking.

Jennifer Jason Leigh does the "fast-talking career gal" perfectly.

Paul Newman of course always looks like he was born in whatever role he's playing, he makes it look like acting is the easiest thing in the world, when obviously it's very hard to make it appear so effortless.

Even the Moses character. Everything done to a tee.

Great movie.

Damn, I'm gonna have to watch it again for the 89th time....
