Just change the title of the ranks. This one is Navy

A brand new Ensign reported to his first command and was greeted by a Master Chief Petty Officer.
The Ensign asked; "Master Chief, we learned a lot about officer ranks at OCS, but no one ever explained the significance of the collar devices".
The Master Chief responded; "well, it's really quite simple. You're an Ensign. We use a single gold bar. That represents that you are like a precious metal, and like gold, you're still fairly soft and easy to mold.
When you make O2, we give you a single silver bar. This represents that you are still precious to us, but you're beginning to harden.
Then when you make LT, we give you a second silver bar and add a backbone to it.
Then you have the silver eagle! The symbol of our country and one of grace, wisdom and power.
When you make Flag Officer, we give you a Star, representing the brightest light in the heaven and the means to guide us."
The Ensign thought for a minute and asked; "Master Chief, what about the gold and silver oak leaves"?
the Master Chief said; "son, those go back to the very beginning of time. When God was in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve and told them; 'for all eternity, you will use these leaves to cover your pricks and assholes'"!
