Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar launched nationwide on Feb. 25.
The new beverages are the first flavor innovations in more than a decade to join the Coca-Cola flavor portfolio, which includes fan-favorites Cherry Coke and Vanilla Cokeand their zero sugar counterparts.
Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar will be available in 12-ounce cans and 20-ounce PET bottles. The new flavor also will be available exclusively at Wendys restaurants in Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain dispensers through the end of the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament before rolling out nationally across all Freestyle units.
It does taste like a Creamsicle like, if you poured yourself a glass of Coke, stuck a Creamsicle in it upside-down, let it melt a bit, and then drank the Coke now mixed with melted Creamsicle.

(9,663 posts)My first thought looking at the two cans was of Donald Trumplicit. Especially the can on the left. Orange top, roughly the shape of a hairdo, orange slice as a mouth and a ruddy, red-faced can.
Second thought was is this some sort of clever Madison Avenue marketing plan, developing a meme using a national subconscious symbol of tRump to sell more of their product?
I wouldn't be surprised and if so, bastards.

I thought it was just orange cream, not with coke flavor too. no loss then.

(12,132 posts)of course, they call it something else but that's exactly what it tastes like. My wife has made me drive out of my way many times to get to a TB before happy hour is over so she can have one on the cheap.
And all the time I'm in line buying her one of these I can only think: "How do I get paid for this?" In the mid-seventies when I was 14 I worked one summer at a snow-cone stand in Texas. I was the first to take snow ice cream flavor and mixed it with orange and called it Dreamsicle and it was one of our best sellers. I'm sure I was the first! I think a Taco Bell exec rembered coming to my snow-cone shack and stole the idea. (that I stole from Dreamsicle but that's not the point!)

(55,007 posts)I don't mind their plain crunchy tacos (add onions) but prefer to hit McD s for the cheaper half cut iced tea so tend to stick with them when "needing" a junk food stop.
