Which basically means grinding them down to where they should be. It doesn't hurt them, but they may need a little happy juice if they've never had it done previously. It's noisy, whether done by hand with a file, or machine.
This lady is a saint for rescuing these lovely boys.
Those marks on his nose are from having a halter on so tight, it becomes embedded. I had a rescue like that. Even after rehab, he never lost the scars.
