What would you challenge Bobby Flay with on "Beat Bobby Flay?"

He's tough, but I would take him on with Mom and Grandma's Swedish Meatballs with mushroom gravy, Aunt Kay's mashed potatoes, and Cindy's root vegetables. For dessert? Dave's pecan pie.

We would always end up with a big mess that still tasted good.

My dish: Noodleless Lasagna.

Ingredients:
Raw carne asado meat
Soft Italian cheese, shredded
Marinara sauce, perhaps with mushrooms in it

Process:
1) Cook the meat - I think I'm going to try simmering it in seasoned tomato sauce next time I do this.
2) Make stacks consisting of layers of meat and cheese, with meat at top and bottom.
3) Put in oven long enough to melt the cheese.
4) Plate the dish and pour sauce over it.

Simple. The key is cooking them the roght amount of time so they are soft and not stringy.
