As I sit in front of the local police department waiting for then to get a release form together I want to Thank you, you prick.
The van broke down at the drug store last night (the transmission linkage fell apart) so I went and picked up the lady,told Walgreens that we would be back in the morning to get it, when we had got there it was gone! Called the local P.D. and the told me that they found it in the Middle of one of the busiest intersections in town abandoned, and towed it off.

So you,you fuckin thieving Bastard I have a question for you...
1...how did you start it,it wouldn't start as the transmission was in "Drive " hence the transmission interlock would not allow it to start.
2...how did you get it into any gear? The linkage was in a bunch of pieces that were all over the ground.

This thieving prick jus cost me a crapload of money we don't have.

1. You might be able to get

security footage if there are any cameras in the vicinity.
Especially at the intersection if they have cameras.

2. The only video we were able to get was from Walgreens

It shows someone climbing into the van and driving off,but because it was raining they couldn't identify who is was.

We found the van at the tow yard, paid the bill and are gonna have it repaired, nothing missing from the inside...whew there is a electric ukulele, amp,theremin, and other spendy stuff inside,looks like whoever tried to swipe it just wanted a ride.

We just didn't need to add $150 to the repair bill
