Since we're in the process of downsizing I began listing my blu-rays and DVD's. What I've sold has pretty much gone like I've expected. Not getting what I paid for with most which is okay. A few are collectable so I made a bit of money with those.
Now, here's the shocker.
I have Here Come The Brides Season 1 on DVD.
On ebay it's running from $169 to $400! On Amazon for used it's $398!
Who would pay that much money for one season on DVD? I was floored. I can't even imagine listing it for that much!

(31,011 posts)I think I'll list it for $50 and see what happens. I only paid $20 for this when it came out.

Plus Joan Blondell-who was a hottie in movies, per Movie Code, on her wiki, there is a 1932 promo shot that is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Saw another one priced pretty low, but it was a post from 2006

(31,011 posts)I saw it earlier. Those are fairly worthless to collectors.

(9,637 posts)I was looking for an out-of-print book, and I found it on Amazon for $122.00. And I don't have that kind of money, so I looked on eBay, and the exact same book was $11.99. Guess which one I bought?

(31,011 posts)I've been collecting for years and I've paid a pretty penny for some rare ones, but never this high. I don't expect anyone else to do that either. I set it much lower than anywhere else. Hopefully it sells.

(82,849 posts)I winnowed out my DVD collection by selling them at my brother's garage sale. I didn't think to check online for any going prices, I was just making space on the overstuffed shelves. My sales pitch was, "One for three bucks, two for five bucks, three for . . . five bucks. See where this is going? Choose as many as you want, and we'll work out a fair price."

(31,011 posts)I have a lot of 4K movies and steelbooks. All of those that I'm not keeping are going to ebay. I've been collecting for a while.
I'm having to separate the ones that I know aren't worth a lot and will hope to get something out of them. We have a local store that buys some used that I might get a few bucks out of.
I'll have some leftover after the kids and friends pick through them. Then I'll donate what's left to our local library. That could still be quite a few.
Yes, I have over 1100 blu-rays, DVD's, steelbooks and 4K movies and tv shows. LOL
