How to tell if your beach is invaded by kangaroos

Wallabies - see them all the time. They're solitary and smaller than roos and live in the scrub-covered dunes. Roos on the beach - rare. They prefer open space, although they shelter under trees in storms and at night.

So when you see strange tracks in the sand, here's a handy guide to identifying a mob of roos on the beach.

They were hanging out in the rocks. But the big reds were out in the open, like you said.
