When the mower blade hits a rock, I go, "*SHIT/Damn*" - and keep going!1

When the machine conks out and stops, I go, "*SHIT/Damn*" - and look around to see if the neighbor is around.

A friend said, eons ago when I said, "Oh, shit, the engine light went on!1," - "I just let the bulb burn out." (Keeps running it until the bulb burns out.)

because it kept coming on randomly for no apparent reason and was annoying me. If it had ever had a real reason to come on, I wouldn't have known about it.

bent the crank shaft. Had quite the vibration then after. Got three more mows before it rattled itself to death.

I just bought an OBD2 reader, but then I sold that car. The car I drive now is old enough that it doesn't have an OBD2 port, just OBD1 with like twelve different things that could go wrong, all of them important.
