Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI have never seen anything like this. Extreme differences in value of exact same item..
There are rumors out that this so called "Black Diamond Edition" of this video is worth a whole lot of money..
Take a look at people offering this at such wide differences in value.
.All for the same item. I got one of these. Is it worth $6,000 or $10.00? What do you think. I have never seen such a variation for the same exact thing. Take a look, but don't buy.

(25,811 posts)The people willing to pay huge sums of money for this aren't planning on actually watching the video. They will keep in just for the bragging rights or in the hope of selling it later on for even more money.

(6,568 posts)$25 is really the high end of what they go for.
Lots of ebay auctions with stupid high asking prices that never sell.

(25,426 posts)Asking prices are meaningless. Look at selling prices to know what they're really going for.
Snopes covered this a while back. Three years ago, in fact.

(25,183 posts)While cleaning out our place, my lady found a few of these BDE video tapes, and got really excited when she saw what they were listing at on eBay. I looked myself, and saw that they were listed at high prices.
BUT, if you look at only sold items, you'll see the truth. Now and then, a sucker pays "only" a couple hundred bucks for one of these old videotapes supposedly worth thousands.
The last big "toy" scam was Beanie Babies.

Ebay user valuestampsinc posted a listing for the Cheeto last week after finding that it oddly resembled Harambe the gorilla.
"I opened up a bag of Flamin' Hot Cheetos and as soon as I looked inside I came across this unique Cheetos that looks like Harambe the gorilla," the eBay seller writes. "This item is one of a kind! This makes a great collectible for anyone who appreciates rare items!"
He added that the Cheeto for bidding is just a single Cheeto and not the whole bag, measuring at about 1 1/2 inches in length.
He initially listed the Harambe-shaped Cheeto for just $11.99, but now Tuesday morning, the piece of food was sold for $99,900 when bidding closed.
More than 100 offers on the Flamin' Hot Harambe Cheeto helped to increase the price to just under $100,000.
