An Iowa baseball fan had a cringeworthy moment during the B1G baseball tournament this weekend.

During the semifinal round of this year’s tournament between Ohio State and Minnesota, a ball was fouled off into the stands, with fans chasing after it. Nothin atypical for a baseball game at any level. But an Iowa fan is taking a lot of heat for his actions.

The Hawkeye fan chased down the foul ball, as did a kid. But the older Iowa fan quickly rips the ball off the ground while the child dove for it.

As you can guess, he caught plenty of heat for the action. It won’t be a good week on social media for Iowa or this guy:
