I keep having to run out into the street, jump into my car, and start it up just so I can move it to a more sheltered location under a big tree.

My neighbor's veggie garden is toast, shredded, kaput.

Supposedly, we have more of this system moving through tonight. Keep yourself safe.

I think my flowers suffered quite a bit, more from the first wave though because that hail was larger.

Have you noticed that lately thunder has been really loud with long rolling rumbles?

To Colorado in 1981. I was living in Arapahoe County and they happened almost every late summer afternoon. We also saw wimpy tornadoes and funnel clouds. I thought those days were long gone. Were you here in the 80s? Do you remember?

I moved here late 81. There were always afternoon storms, but I don't remember there being so much hail!

Moved to a new house in Aurora in 2009. That first spring/summer we had constant tornado warnings. I remember teaching a class and getting three tornado warnings in an hour. I just gave up trying to teach that day.

Especially in Boulder County. I can remember the late 90s and 2000s we had weeks w/o rain.

I was still in Aurora then. One of the bigger streets got flooded. The next week it was closed down. I walked over to look at it, and one lane was completely gone. There was a gully about five feet deep the water had cut!

I had a temp job in Longmont at the hospital and 287 washed out and I couldn't get there. That was also the year I had a Danish exchange high-school student that year. I warned her how dry it was here in Colorado and then it flooded, LOL.

Sounded like the house was coming apart. My poor pets have just about had it the last couple of days.

We've just started giving her Doggy-CBD treats to calm her. Seems to be working.

Lots of super bright lightning and long peals of thunder. My dog insisted on sleeping with me.
