wanted to see my real parents. They said they were my real parents, and my new ones were waiting outside!

(46,019 posts)I know a woman who found BOTH her birth parents after she was an adult. Last week-end, they attended her baby shower and are excited about having three grandchildren now.
I helped my friend find his birth parents. He didn't know he was adopted until after his "parents" both had passed. His father hosted him for a visit and they are identical in appearance. And he's excited about his half brother who's old enough to be his son. His mother got spooked on a phonecall and asked him not to contact her again.
With ancestry.com, you can start your search. I went to the birth registry for New York City for me and my friend.
