No, We don't "all love Video Doorbells," Property Brothers! (Ads that Annoy, Irritate or Outrage)

That damned commercial runs 24/7 and beyond the fact I find turning over one's entire home and functions to the possibility of internet hacking to be intensely stupid, that ad, that assumes WE all are going to do so really irritates me, (although less so than the actual "ad performance" from the Scott Brothers. "FACT!" )

So, what's your least favorite commercial currently?

1. My daughter and son in law just moved into a house with new appliances.

Their dishwasher talks to their cell phones. YUK.

2. Ultimately, I think all these interconnected "time, energy & supposed $$ saving" technologies

are going to cost consumers more to securely "safeguard" than any savings or real convenience. I'm no Luddite, but I am cautious, given what we already know to date.

3. I hit the mute button on 99.999% of all commercials

The Big Pharma ones were driving me around the twist. They all seem to list more ways the drug can kill you, than ways it can help you. Most of the rest of the ads are just flat out annoying. The writing seems geared for middle-schoolers.

I'm probably the marketing ad world's biggest kind of nightmare.

5. Yesterday I was bingeing on the American Heroes Channel

aka The Nazi History Channel and saw a Peyronies Disease commercial multiple times.

I didn't know that condition was such a problem, but comparing one's Johnson to a green jalapeño pepper is disturbing on many levels.

10. I record most of the shows I watch on network stations and fast forward thru the commercials.

11. I watch very little TV anymore

that which i do watch is recorded. I have also given up on CNN, MSNBC and alike which are nothing more than 24/7 Breaking Noise designed to fill airtime between ads for drugs we never knew we needed. I find them to be nothing but hype that occasionally brushes up against journalism but it is becoming more of a rare thing when it happens .

CPI. Not only does the cop arresting the vaguely looking Hispanic guy run constantly, I really get pissed every time the cop whines that "I can't stop everybody walking down the street...." Damn liberals, stopping him from being able to decide who should be stopped, like a brown guy in a white neighborhood.

Anything by Liberty Insurance, and the horrible Wayfair music are runners-up.

And of the worst, the worst of those is that one for manic-depression.

17. anything with LOUD bells, alarms, screaming people/babies, etc.

if that's supposed to get your attention. it does -- and I immediately hit MUTE. I hate loud obnoxious commercials no matter what product they are selling. and I hate live audiences where everyone is screaming.

18. I absolutely despise the Captain Morgan commercial

They took the beautiful tune "Guantanamera" (lyrics by the Cuban patriot José Marti) and made it stupid, ugly, and obnoxious by a bunch of louts shouting about rum. Outrageous.
