it's that the internet is flooded with so much falsehood that it is hard for many to discern the truth (pick up the signal from the noise). Much like modern communication electronics, it takes a lot of processing to find the signal...

Think about it:
From cave drawings to movable type to printed illustrations to radio to tv to VCR’s to the inter web three industries are always right on top of getting out their product (often a message)

Religion
Porn
and Wrestling (violence)

Exploiting people is the Management side of the worlds oldest profession

More [bad] information fox viewer type voters, who see conspicuously on fox, Dem the 'socialist' types, - are more likely to think [feel?] those left types are representative of Dems in general, than the low info voters.

Trump voters generally demonstrate this, except for the racists who voted for Trump because he is a racist.
