Ha! Apple's trying to brick my phone!

I have probably the last of the iPhone 4S phones.

They haven't sent me an update in years, and I mean years.

Then today they send me an update.

Nice try, Apple.

And even if you do not believe them based only on their own words, I can tell you that I've also got one of these seemingly outdated 4S's still in service, and i installed it without ill effect.

FWIW, I also know multiple people with a 4 still in use also, which is slightly older than the 4S. They also have not had their devices bricked. Of all the things one can accuse Apple of, this one seems off the mark, in my experience.
