Sometimes people with brain injuries or conditions that impair normal movement or make coordination problematic in regular situations find astonishing freedom of movement and coordination when the music comes on and they can dance to it.

Same is true, I understand, of some stroke patients that lose the ability to speak but can still sing.

Moving and communicating to music can be a powerful rehab tool.

Music is just amazing.

A special relationship with music is a form of superpower.
