3. To work in a video store in its prime (early 90's) you had to be able to answer vague questions

to identify movies for customers.

For example:

Do you know the one with the bad bank robbers and it had that guy who is blind in another movie?

Do you have the one with the German who attacks a high rise building and the good guy is barefoot?

True story. I was renting some movies on a Friday night at peak time 7 pm. This was a big store it had a “back room” 😉 No I was getting regular movie.
There are kids and families around and the guy in front of me doesn’t have a DVD or anything. Little Jordans and Carters and Tiffanys running around as soccer mom is getting Air Bud 3 or something and this guy in front of me steps up to the counter and very loudly asks “You got anything with midgets f———?”

I partly cringed and laughed as I looked around. Everyone within 15 feet clearly heard what he said.

4. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

My personal all time favorite Sci Fi movie and extremely underrated in how effective it was in terms of filmmaking.
