(17,984 posts)Are they talking about the word "kids," or are they talking about flesh and blood children? But if they mean literal "kids," then they must be talking about young goats. On the other hand, they might be good grammarians but bad with word choice. However, the very first word in the sentence is a contraction. As everyone knows, contractions are considered informal. So now we have another clue to take on board, namely, the person who wrote this is using informal language. In that case, I guess using "kids" to mean "children" might pass.
How the hell am I supposed to grade this?

I thought it was funny for about 30 seconds. Then it became increasingly annoying.
