Why are animals so much easier to love/like than people?

It’s been a rough week. I’ve had encounters with a belligerent a-hole, a religious fundie who was a sort of friend, and another person I used to know, who...well I don’t feel like going there.

What is the universe trying to tell me? To move to the periphery of northern Canada not have anything to do with anybody?

srsly, w/o my 2 big dogs, i could not exist in this world of today.
all the more dear in this time of the death of truth.

my personal escape plan is to sell my bit of property in the big city and get a nice subsidy to return to the old sod, and buy myself a pretty little farm out in the nowhere.
if ireland goes under water, i will pick somewhere warm w higher ground. tho i expect those places will get pretty crowded soon.

it's ok to listen to messages from the universe, but be careful not to give it too much credence.
