Dog Gives Mom The Cold Shoulder After Picking Him Up From The Vet

Fritz was under the impression that they were heading to the park!

Fritz and his owner, Bret Mortimer, often take drives to the local park for some nice play sessions. That’s why Fritz was under the impression that he was heading there on this particular day, but that wasn’t the case.



Bret was actually taking Fritz to the vet to get his teeth checked and cleaned. It’s good for his health and needs to be done, but the good boy doesn’t understand that. So when Mom came back to pick him up, he gave her the cold shoulder.

Fritz wouldn’t even look her in the eye! 😀

But it didn’t take long for Fritz to get over it and forgive his mom. He was a little hesitant on their next trip to the park, but he was pretty happy afterward!

4. My cat gave me a very cold shoulder when I picked him up at the vet's

after he was neutered. The vet tech was carrying him, and when he saw me he tucked his head under her arm and wouldn't look at me. But he forgot he was mad and was my friend again as soon as we got home.

5. Most of the time they put the dog under general anesthesia

My dog was loopy for a day or so until the anesthesia finally wore off. Same thing might have happened here.

I absolutely HATE that they have to put dogs under general just to clean their teeth. The first time I did it they did one of those "no anesthesia" treatments. Later on I read about how crappy they are.
