Pumpkin Spice has jumped the shark!

Each year, autumn-themed food offerings seem to creep further and further into summer and the trend continues in 2019.

Halfway through August, as heat waves scorch parts of the U.S., Spam announced that it's getting in on the seasonal flavor trend by offering pumpkin-flavored meat in a can. Spam, which is already-cooked pork with a slightly salty taste, will reportedly come in a new Pumpkin Spice flavor, which the brand jokingly teased back in 2017.

1. well, hams are routinely cooked with a brown sugar, cloves and other spiced glaze, so...

though I'd have to be starving to eat spam of any flavor.

but I saw that one of the strip clubs here in town was offering pumpkin spice lap dances on their marquee last weekend. Blech. 🤮
