To the dealership? That’s not the easy way.

Last three cars I’ve bought, I call em up, tell a salesperson what kind of car I want, get three examples ready, I’ll be there at 4 Saturday to check em out. Go look at cars, tell salesperson which car, tell em to call me with a deal. Bye.

They call me about an hour later, come to terms, pick up car Monday. Bye.

It’s what started the whole “don’t hang out at a dealership all day” thing.

We went to buy a car, picked one out, and the rookie salesperson made us wait in his tiny office for 15 minutes while he went and talked to his manager. He comes back with a crappy deal, hubs says try again, and sales guy wants to go see manager again.

Hubs suddenly says “Fine...but we’re gonna go out to the service waiting room and watch the Jayhawks basketball game. Bring the deal out there”.

Poor guy had to bring the deal 3 times before hubs would accept. It got to where it seemed like us and the manager were just running him back and forth for a laugh.

Now we just tell them we’re going home.
