No one else on the panel seemed terribly impressed.

That said, it was a very good show today. Eddie Glaude, Jr., who is an American history Professor at Princeton, was excellent in his analysis of Trump's latest escapades, including the Greenland thingie. I like the show when they have all those history professors on. They know something, unlike the hosts.

interested. They've got egos too ya know.

I went up Mt. Etna which is a volcano and it got very cold. There was snow even tho it was just the fall and it was Sicily...our Sicilian driver freaked at driving in snow so we stopped and slid our way back down. I thought I was done for...

just so stunning

I agree, it was amazing and the food was great! My boyfriend at that time was trying to find his Sicilian roots so we went pretty rural too....I remember buying fruit from an old guy and a little guy (maybe his grandson) - we did not speak each other's language but if you've got money, a transaction can be had! When I hand-signed how many I wanted of each, the little boy grabbed my hands and counted one through 10 on my fingers in Italian....so sweet! And I have NEVER had fruit that tasted better.

were walking and I called to them "Caio, piccolini!" and they, seeing my old gray head said "Ciao, nonna!" I was just charmed, I can tell you.

Your post reminded me of those wonderful people and that beautiful isola

Presumably given as a joke answer to a European explorer who asked what that was.
