Why do some people insist that you know somebody when you say you dont know them?
For example:
Other person: You know John Johnson?
Me: no.
Other person: Oh dont you know him he used to come to AA meetings at this church all the time?
Me: I dont remember him.
Other person: Oh, if you saw him you would know him.
And so on....why do people do this?
