Has a plate on it that turns by sticking your finger into holes and rotating.
I think it is some kind of joke phone.
You can turn this into a phone/camera/texting device combo if you attach a camera and little spiral notebook to it.
It does not appear to be very portable. It is attached to a wall, so to bring it with you, it looks like you have to bring the wall with you also. On second thought, it appears to be attached to a load bearing wall, so you probably have to bring the entire house with you.
Only has one ringtone assigned to it, so I am asking only $3 for it.

(32,351 posts)Any movie that was made before the 1980s would certainly show this very type of phone being used. I can't believe these kids have no idea how to dial the phone. Sure, the more recent landline phones had push buttons and that led to the digital version we're familiar with nowadays. But I remember owning a phone just like this back around 1980, and my son who was a kid then knew how to use it.

That's why I still have one in my upstairs bedroom. No cell phone reception when my modem goes down.

(32,351 posts)I still have a landline, but it's digital and it comes into my home on the internet cable (Verizon FIOS). All in all it's a good setup but when my power or cable goes down, so does my phone. Luckily it doesn't happen too often.
I think most city folks have been converted over to the digital wiring by now, even those who don't have cable TV. It wasn't always this way, but the internet revolution drove us to digital wiring of everything.
