What would it be?
I'm thinking flying would be pretty nice. I dream about it often.

And, btw, I too have had dreams of flying. Vivid dreams. Psychologists tell us that we're trying to escape something...but I've been flying in my dreams since childhood.

(10,952 posts)flying.
Imagine being able to teleport to London to see a show, the Caribbean to spend the day on the beach, to work and back (what a short commute that would be), and so on.
If I could have a second power it would be invisibility. Imagine being able to teleport into the WH and record what does on and then put it out on the internet. Imagine being able to sneak in and take pictures of who know what documents (think tax returns from the IRS).

Creative, eh?

(23,302 posts)Thatd be amazing. If I couldnt have telekinesis, Id settle for a full night of sleep without having to pee or worry about what MF45 ruined while I slept.

(14,958 posts)but the dream was me flying the route home from school (which I normally walked or biked). And I followed the streets I usually travelled, instead of as-a-crow-flying it, just at varying heights...
But if I had to pick *one* superpower, and not trying to be cheat-y by being overly vague... I think being invulnerable to physical trauma (i.e. kinetic energy) would be very useful -- you would be bullet-proof (sadly a useful thing to be in America), you could stop any street-fight you saw without danger from fist or foot or knife or gun, you could run into traffic to save pedestrians or pets without risk to yourself, you could take up all kinds of hobbies which otherwise seem insane/imprudent like free-climbing and various extreme sports... I'm sure if I thought about it longer I'd change my mind, but off the top of my head that one seems good.
