Starlight seems like a perfect name - she radiates spirit and spunk.

I’d have kept her, too. We have 3 right now, down from 5. Doesn’t feel like enough (my husband disagrees). After 3, it’s, “Ah, what’s one more?”

And a poster up that said, "Cats are like potato chips... you can never have just one!"
We're down to just one now, but she's an old girl (15), and we don't want to drive her nuts with a little one, and she only just tolerates our two dogs.

I'd have kept this one, too - what a little love.

To me the question is, how did that tiny kitten wind up on the sidewalk? Was she abandoned by her mother? By the humans who should have been taking care of her?

So glad the story has a happy ending.
