Anyone here a Quora member?

I don't even remember how or why I signed up on this site years ago. If someone asks a question on Quora that I can answer, I answer it to the best of my ability, and my answers usually get a lot of "upvotes" (I think that is what they call them).

Quora occasionally sends me an email which invites me to be a member of the "Quora Partner Program". I guess what you do with this is to post interesting questions, and you make money depending on the quality of the question and the responses you get. The email says that the highest paid partners make around $1,000/month.

Anyone know anything about this?

Thank you.

I can't help you with your question but I'm intrigued by the possibility of writing questions for them. The least I can do is kick and rec your post.

Maybe we can both find out about how this partner program works...hopefully someone who is a member will respond. I usually give detailed answers to DIY questions, and I'm flummoxed on why they pay you for asking "quality questions". If I find out any more info, I'll post it in this thread.

I think I'd be better at asking questions than answering!

Maybe you should look at the questions in some area of interest to you that get the most response and see how they are worded. I notice that "why" questions about preferences always get a lot of answers, like "Why should I choose an arts college rather than just a regular college with an arts department?"

Like you, I'm not sure how or why I ended up there years ago.

I land there every now and then - coincidentally, a couple times in the past month - but always still never sure of the how or why if it. Lol.

I've never answered a question but would like to make an extra $1000 a month. I guess I'll have to make the effort to do so (answer some questions) in the future. Perhaps they'll invite me one day if I give some good answers, like you have!

Keep us informed, please. I'd love to hear how it goes for you, LuckyCharms.
