I haven’t got a clue how you would even start to learn how to make those! It’s almost unbelievable; is that a special kind of paper, to hold those intricate folds? Or would any standard print paper work?

Because apparently they have great knowledge of geometry, but I was thinking if the paper came marked with the lines you needed to fold on ( or, better yet, if these patterns were available on a web site and could be printed out), then maybe it would be possible for us amateurs to try it!

Good idea for a craft book; especially if that’s a special paper stock the artist is using.

Most kids go through an origami phase and that would be a good time to introduce this "art."
