after about the 20th call (and they are all recordings) i finally called the #
and tore into them to get their crap straight and quit calling not Fred..

and no Ben. It’s a scam caller. Bet ya poor “Benjamin” could remedy his super scary, dire legal situation by making a payment (aka handing his bank/credit card account info) or by sending payment in the form of gift cards.

It sounds like a variation of “the IRS will be there to arrest you in 4 hours!!” scam call.
