Is it hypocritical for anonymous critics of the new WH "Anonymous" book to criticize the...

...author for not putting their name on the book?

Seriously, anyone who has watched Trump and his minions for a second knows he cannot be trusted.

Why would anyone expect the author to expose themselves to such evil people?

Think; "Whistleblower".

Please let me know, anonymous or not!

2. They need to come forward

The person that authored this book should be a patriot like those who have already come forward. Obviously he/she has information that the congress can use to stop this craven criminal residing in the white house. Writing a book and not going through the whistle blower program is complete chicken shit and unpatriotic to the country. Sorry I am very angry at this person for not telling someone. This could have very well been stopped a year ago.

He/she will be outed in due time. Right now he/she has a bigass crosshair on their back and I don't trust this criminal or his base not to go hunt this person or their family down. Remember this criminal is taking lessons from Putin who we all know is the master of getting rid of his enemies and right now that whistleblower is enemy number one of the whole base.

Edit: oops, this was for Bev54 in post 2.

They have chosen to put that crosshair on their back, so to me if you are going to do so, do it for the right reasons and that is not to be the author of a book, but someone who does the right thing to try and help the country rid itself of this vermin. I am not in support of them, I still think they have done this the chickenshit way and while it may be mildly entertaining, it is not helpful.

The identity of Deep Throat was not revealed until 2005, when he was 91. That's the way a whistleblower is protected.

I'd prefer he/she would come forward. It would garner much more attention and give the book more credence.

If, as I suspect, the author is some "Deputy Assistant to the Under-secretary of All Countries Ending in -stan", then staying nameless is best.

At some point both the author and the whistleblower will be known or confirmed.
