late 70s, has everything he needs, Wisconsin native and loves the Packers, loves sports, does not need another lumberjack shirt from LL Bean, we've stopped drinking due to health issues, very much into politics (lifelong Dem, very liberal), plus I see to it that he gets kissed by me very sweetly and deeply every day...
Any suggestions???

When my husband and I were first married, he got stationed at KI Sawyer AFB in the upper peninsula of Michigan. He flew tankers. We used to Joke around that we were 2 of very few people who had to drive SOUTH to get to Green Bay.

(63,909 posts)There used to be an opera series we attended for several years but no more. Just crappy stuff. However, Yale has some nice stuff from its school of music.

(118,630 posts)They can sell the milk and eggs for some coin they have no other access to if they are subsistance farmers. That means school uniforms and health care. It starts a cycle.

(118,630 posts)and goats are not the most efficient source of protein. Feed the Children is transparent like that. Here is the site i go to every xmas. Chickens look good. But it is a canadian charity. I don't know if they take US credit cards.
You could also buy bees. Or bed nets.
