The questions I got last spring while in Ireland were quite amusing.

My friends and relatives are often in touch, and they feel real sympathy for us lol.

I was there last spring, before any Dem candidates had been an issue, so no idea on that one.

Haven’t spoken with friends or relatives about the Democratic primary; lol, no doubt they’re baffled by the number of candidates we have.

It was clear they thought of the orange menace as a complete joke, however.

It's very similar to a victim of constant abuse finding out that yes, others recognize the abuse. Instead of doubling-down on the gaslighting, these viewers are completely rejecting it.
